Teen behind-the-wheel training for Alexandria students
Whether your teen attends one of the Alexandria-area high schools, including Alexandria City High School, West Potomac and Mount Vernon, or another school nearby, we pick them up from home or school. After your teen finishes classroom driver's ed, our one-on-one behind-the-wheel course covers the 14 in-car periods Virginia requires and includes the final road skills test, so your teen does not take the road test at the DMV. We can schedule lessons around the school day, weekends and holidays.
Adult driving lessons in Alexandria
If you are 18 or older, our adult waiver license course lets you get your Virginia license with no DMV road test. Never driven before? The 10-hour beginner course starts from zero with a patient, DMV-certified instructor. Our instructors speak English and Spanish.
Practice on real Alexandria roads
Alexandria mixes narrow historic streets with busy roads and highways. We practice the tight, one-way streets and parking in Old Town, busy roads like Duke Street, King Street and Route 1, and when you are ready, merging onto I-395 and the Beltway near the Wilson Bridge.
